Jacob, I want you to listen to me and listen to me good. I am stranded in the Old Milkridge Tunnel. By my estimate, it’s been about two days and if that’s the case, you guys should be prepping for Plan B. In the off-chance this letter reaches you in time, ABORT. Do not proceed with Plan B. Something screwy is going on here and Plan B would be disastrous. Instead what I want you to do is go down to Rex Construction Yard and meet with a fellow named Sam Crane. Tell him I’m calling in the favor he owes me and send him here with his entire crew and all the equipment he’s got. I’m sure he’ll figure out what to do once he gets here.
Don’t worry about the luggage. That’s why I’m staying behind instead of coming to you myself. There ain’t no crew sniffing around and everyone else is just trying to make due until help arrives and that help is going to be Rex Construction Yard. They save the day and I slip out quietly with the luggage. But make it quick. There’s some strange things that have been happening here. Nothing I can’t handle, but I don’t want to stick around longer than need be.
